To satisfy its customers’ expectations, TotalEnergies splits into two differentiated business lines: TotalEnergies Gas Cono Sur, which supplies natural gas to its customers, and Total Especialidades Argentina, which operates in the lubricant market under the brands TotalEnergies and ELF.

TotalEnergies Gas Cono Sur, reliability and low carbon energy for our customers

This business unit is responsible for marketing and dispatching the natural gas produced by Total Austral, securing customer supply and maximizing the value of the production of TotalEnergies in Argentina. We also market gas produced by other companies who benefit from our extended business portfolio – enabling TotalEnergies to supplement and optimize the Company’s activities.

We are a dynamic, versatile and innovative team with vast knowledge of the energy market, its players and its regulatory aspects. We are leaders in the country and in the exports market, and are strongly customer-oriented. We are engaged in the following operations: sale of wellhead gas, sale and distribution of city gate gas and sale of multi-basin gas.

We rely on three fundamental principles: anticipation, innovation, and reliability. That is why we work constantly to make sure our gas reaches our customers 24x7x365. Thus, our products are recognized for their high quality standards and supply reliability.

In Argentina, we supply natural gas to every market segment: residential and commercial, compressed natural gas stations, electric power stations and large, medium and small-sized industries. As a leading exporter of gas to Chile we also play a key role in energy integration in the Southern Cone region.

At present we sell over 15 million cubic meters of gas from all producing basins on a daily basis, which accounts for 11% of the total domestic gas marketed in the country. Our extensive customer portfolio includes all natural gas distribution companies, electric power producers and leading industries up and down the country.

In addition, we work together with our customers in the search of opportunities to improve their environmental performance, using natural gas as transition energy and, together with our renewable energies portfolio, we propose joint energy solutions.

Total Especialidades Argentina, present in the lubricants, grease and liquid fluids market through its TotalEnergies and ELF brands

Our wide range of lubricants is designed to meet the needs of light, heavy motor vehicles, motorcycles, agricultural and industrial vehicles.

Our lubricant blending and grease production plant in La Tablada has a production capacity of 50,000 tons/year. At this plant we manufacture over 300 products which are sold via a network of over 50 authorized distributors and dealers. The plant also has its own laboratory and is ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2016 and IATF 16949 certified.

Lubricants must be at the forefront of technological change to keep up with international specifications and meet the changing industrial requirements. That is why we have entered into major partnerships with international automobile manufacturers including Peugeot, Citroën, DS, Chery, CF Motos and Royal Enfield.

At Total Especialidades Argentina we are committed to providing cleaner energy for an efficient and sustainable use. An example of this commitment is our Fuel Economy lubricant range, which offers more mileage per liter of fuel, ensuring better protection and lower wear and tear of engine parts, while reducing at the same time the environmental impact.

We also offer a wide range of products and services meeting the lubrication needs of the industry, including fluids for hydraulic circuits, lubricants for compressors, grease, gearbox lubricants, cutting fluids in paste and soluble form, among other.

Our range of products is in line with our global strategy and strengthens our commitment to the production of energy that is cleaner, safer, more efficient, affordable, and sustainable.
