It’s through 10 free video clips about the challenges of the energy transition and the sector’s innovations for a low-carbon energy mix, open to all

As part of its commitment to youth inclusion and education, Total Austral launched this new digital learning experience called “Energy Transition”, developed by IFP School, with the support of Fondation Tuck and TotalEnergies Foundation.

This new offer is based on the 3 previous editions of the MOOC on "Energy Transition: innovation for a low-carbon future", that have gathered more than 52,000 moocers from 130 countries.

The videoclips cover the following topics: sustainable development scenarios (<2°C),  the risks on a growing demand for low carbon technologies minerals, renewables technical and economic fundamentals,  offshore wind challenges: focus on innovation, natural gas: reduction of GHG emissions and decarbonization, native hydrogen, CO2 storage: duplicate natural gas underground storage, negative CO2 emissions: introducing BECCS, steam trap and Internet of Things (IoT), bio-based chemicals.

In addition to videos, the experience offers the possibility to join a webinar led by IFP experts, which will take place 17th February.

This selection of 10 topics has been made especially for students (1 to 2 years of tertiary education recommended), young professionals and for anyone in search of understanding energy transition challenges for their work or for their own personal interest.

The videos are freely available in English, with French or Spanish subtitles. The inscription is opened until 28th February 2022.
