Renewables Energies
We are dedicated to developing, building and operating Renewable Energy assets.
Currently, we have five renewable energy plants in the country: two photovoltaic solar plants, Caldenes del Oeste in San Luis, of 30 MWp and Amanecer in Catamarca, of 13.6 MWp; two wind farms, Mario Cebreiro in Buenos Aires, of 100 MWh and Vientos Los Hércules in Santa Cruz of 97.2 MWh. We also have a 50 MW wind farm, Malaspina, in Chubut. Other projects are under development, including the generation of green hydrogen.
Malaspina
Malaspina is a 50 MW wind farm located in the province of Chubut, in southern Argentina. The wind farm is equipped with 14 Senvion wind turbines of 3.6 MW of power. The farm has an estimated energy generation of 225 GWh per year, enough to supply 60,000 homes in Argentina.

Mario Cebreiro
Mario Cebreiro is a 100 MW wind farm located in Bahía Blanca, province of Buenos Aires. The wind farm is equipped with 29 VESTAS wind turbines of 3.45 MW of power and delivers an estimated energy generation of 390 GWh per year, enough to supply 110,000 homes in Argentina.
Caldenes del Oeste
Caldenes del Oeste is located in the province of San Luis. It has more than 92,000 photovoltaic solar panels and an installed capacity of 30 MWp, with an estimated energy generation of 60 GWh per year, enough to supply the equivalent of 17,000 homes.

Amanecer
Amanecer is located in Santa María, province of Catamarca. It has more than 23,500 bifacial photovoltaic solar panels, an installed capacity of 13.6 MWp and an estimated energy generation of 35 GWh per year, enough to supply the equivalent of 12,700 homes.
With these projects, TotalEnergies in Argentina contributes to the economic and sustainable development of the region, as well as to the development of local populations through fluid dialogue and ongoing collaboration with local schools, NGOs and other institutions.
